Books and reading is one of life’s pleasures. Whether it is a physical book, an e-publication or audio book, reading can keep us informed and entertained. You will find lots of opportunities to delve amongst the bookshelves or browse online through our 10 sites across the city combined with our mobile library service.
People can also enjoy our regular activities including Storytime and Rhyme time sessions for pre-school children to enjoy the love of reading accompanied by an adult to share their experience. You can also access free internet at our venues or enjoy our 'quiet spaces' to get some peace and quiet to enjoy your reading or study time.
These services are free.
The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Business & Intellectual Property Centre (BIPC), based at Peterborough Central Library, offers a wide range of free services and support to entrepreneurs.
Offering vital insights, confidential advice and access to free resources, training and events – both online and in-person – the BIPC can help people to start or develop their own business.
