Heritage for schools.

We offer an award-winning programme for schools to learn about the past. Our sessions have the museum collection at their heart and offer immersive experiences which cannot be replicated in the classroom.

Pupils can travel back in time to Tudor England to meet a barber surgeon from 1574, explore Victorian medicine in our original operating theatre, discover Peterborough under the Jurassic sea, and enjoy many more fun and educational sessions.

We also offer an outreach programme for those unable to visit, and a CPD programme for teachers to support the teaching of local history.
